Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 13 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Playground eSports website, Android application, tournaments, events, promotions and related services.
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Playground eSports, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, individual tournament rules and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age and other eligibility requirements applicable to the particular service, tournament or promotion. We may require age, identity, game-account or other verification where reasonably necessary.
3. Skill-Based Competitive Gaming
Playground eSports is intended to support organised skill-based competitive gaming. Relevant outcomes should depend on player skill such as physical dexterity, mental agility, strategy, decision-making, coordination or similar skills, and not on betting or wagering. Virtual Coins are not intended to be stakes in a game.
Under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 (“PROG Act”), an “e-sport” includes organised multiplayer competition governed by predefined rules where the outcome is determined solely by specified skill factors, and the Act contemplates recognition and registration of qualifying e-sports. Playground eSports will not represent a game as a legally recognised e-sport unless the required recognition/registration and other legal conditions have been satisfied.
4. Virtual Coins, No Cash Wallet and No Betting
Playground eSports may offer an in-app virtual coin/credit system (“Coins”). Coins are digital in-app units used only for the functions expressly described inside the app. Coins are not Indian currency, electronic money, a bank balance, a deposit, a security, or a user-owned cash balance.
Users may purchase Coins through an authorised payment method where the feature is enabled. A purchase of Coins does not create a right to receive cash, a bank transfer, UPI withdrawal, or a cash-equivalent refund of unused Coins. Coins are non-transferable between users and may not be sold, exchanged or converted into cash.
Where the app provides a redemption catalogue, Coins may be redeemed only for the specific non-cash digital or physical rewards expressly listed in that catalogue, subject to availability, eligibility, verification, expiry and applicable law. The operator may change or discontinue a reward catalogue subject to applicable law and the published reward terms.
Coins must not be used as bets, wagers or stakes on the outcome of a game. Playground eSports does not permit users to stake purchased Coins or money on an uncertain outcome in order to win money or money-equivalent returns.
5. Tournament Rules
Each tournament may have additional rules covering eligibility, registration, match format, scoring, room access, anti-cheat controls, disqualification, disputes, prizes and result publication. The tournament-specific rules will apply together with these Terms.
6. Fair Play and Anti-Cheat
Cheating, hacks, modified clients, exploits, collusion, match manipulation, impersonation, account sharing, automated play and fraudulent activity are prohibited. We may investigate suspicious activity and suspend or terminate accounts or results where reasonably necessary.
7. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. Do not create accounts using false information or another person's identity.
8. Promotions and ₹20 New-User Coin Offer
Any “₹20 New User” offer displayed by Playground eSports is a promotional Coin/credit offer unless the offer page expressly states otherwise. It is not a promise of ₹20 cash, bank credit or cash withdrawal.
Eligibility, activation, expiry, usage restrictions, verification requirements and redemption conditions are determined by the specific offer displayed inside the app. We may refuse, suspend or reverse a promotional Coin grant in cases of duplicate accounts, fraud, abuse, failed verification, chargebacks or legal/compliance restrictions.
9. Coin Purchases and Rewards
Where Coin purchases are enabled, payments are processed through the payment method shown at checkout. Users must provide accurate information and comply with applicable verification requirements.
Coins purchased by a user are intended for in-app use only and are not redeemable for cash. Except where required by applicable consumer law or where a transaction is cancelled/refunded under the published payment policy, purchased Coins are not refundable or exchangeable for money.
Any reward redemption is subject to the specific reward terms displayed at the time of redemption. We may apply reasonable anti-fraud, identity, age, eligibility and abuse-prevention checks before issuing a reward.
10. Intellectual Property
Playground eSports branding, website content and original materials belong to their respective owners. BGMI, PUBG, Free Fire and other game names and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders. Playground eSports does not claim ownership of third-party game intellectual property.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
We may link to third-party websites or services, including the GitHub release page. Third-party terms, privacy policies and availability may apply. We are not responsible for independent third-party services.
12. Service Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may be changed, suspended or removed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, technical reasons or business reasons.
13. User Conduct
You must not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, cheating, abuse, unauthorised access, malware distribution, manipulation of results or any activity that harms other users or the service.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, tournament rules, applicable law, security requirements or fair-play standards.
15. Coin Conversion and Prohibited Uses
Users must not attempt to convert Coins into cash, UPI funds, bank funds, cryptocurrency, gift-card cash equivalents, another user's balance, or any other prohibited monetary instrument. Circumventing the Coin system, manipulating redemptions, or creating multiple accounts to obtain promotional Coins is prohibited.
15. Regulatory Compliance
Where a service is intended to qualify as an e-sport or another regulated online game, Playground eSports may be required to complete applicable registration, recognition, certification, reporting, grievance and other compliance steps. Users should not assume that publication of these Terms or a tournament page itself constitutes regulatory approval.
The operator may maintain age/identity verification, geolocation or State/UT restrictions, anti-fraud controls, records, grievance handling and other safeguards required by applicable law or regulatory directions.
16. Disputes and Governing Law
These Terms are intended to operate subject to applicable laws of India and any mandatory rights or jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded. State/UT gaming and consumer requirements may also apply depending on the user's location and the feature being used.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after publication of an updated version constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
18. Contact and Support
For account, tournament, privacy or legal-support questions, use the Customer Support option available inside the app or the contact method published on the official website.
